Professional quality screwing is all that you can expect out of senior public professionals who tend to have less integrity than crack addicted gutter whores due to the accumulation of genetic turds in higher public offices. The higher you go the less honesty and the worse ethics you will find they need to have to compensate for their gross lazyness, inability and lack of competence. The elected are not idiots, they only look this way to cover up for the intentional waste and intentional missmangement by the bureaucrats in power for life who they have no power over, and force them to look stupid rather than admit that our senior public servants are all men with the mentality of gangsters who lie and cheat the public and also the elected representatives of the public with impunity. I tend to concentrate on substance rather than form. So let's see how this should have been written... The elected are not idiots. They only look this way to cover up for the intentional waste and intentional missmanagement by the bureaucrats in power for generations. [People who the elected] have no power over, [who] force them to look stupid, [to avoid having to] admit that our senior public servants are all men with the mentality of gangsters. [The senior public servants] lie and cheat [not only] the public, but also the elected representatives of the public, with impunity. I hope this is more elequent.. but I am the kind of person who cares more about communicating facts and truth rather than the embelishments of form which you find more important than the substance of what people have to say about the realities of Canada hidden behind all the rosy bullshit pomp and circumstance. Yet there are those who always welcome the opportunity to slam it. I never understood this….. You feel this way most likely because you personally don't work very hard for a living especially if you are involved in government. Canadians work harder than any other people on earth. We pay more to government than any other people on earth. Our government takes OUR natural resources and gives it away pocketing this from us as well and when all is said and done we are lucky to get 2 Cents worth of government services for every dollar paid and taken from us from OUR natural resources to line the pockets of government administrators and their monopolist friends. Most people in Canada after having worked their arses off their whole lives get to retire on dog food or check themselves into a State provided Seniors Institution where they let people rot their last few years on earth when they are no longer working their arses off and paying taxes into the system. Canada is a Communistic Fascist System unknown in the worlds history where the government is a Comministic organization feeding off of those in the private sector applying a Fascist Police State systemically, over slaves doing all the work and paying all the taxes. Canadians, all 30 Million of us should be living just off the royalties from our natural resources alone like Saudi Princes if it was not for the incredible levels of public pilferage by the top 10% of public servants living large like Enron Exces with their friends and relatives in Private Monopolies the government creates and maintains for their friends and relatives. Canada is nothing like people believe it is. Very little that is connected to government and monopolies works legitimatly here. We are better off than most other countries IN SPITE of all the intentional waste and pilferage, because we are constantly being had by our own government and its privatly held monopolies created in the 1800's and are still sucking the lifeblood of Canadians everywhere, becausse we respond to it by working ever harder and sacrificing ourselves to reach dreams that are not real. If you get such a famous quote wrong, what else have you wrong? http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22Lo...G=Google+Search Looks like enough people attribute it to him. Damned good saying, if it was not his. And right on the button with all FACT and REALITY of the matter. It does not take a Brain Surgeon to know this is an absolute TRUISM that cannot be dennied as a truthful, factual, natural human condition. ANOTHER EVEN MORE FAMOUS BANG ON ACTON TRUISM Lord Acton: I cannot accept, .... that we are to judge pope and king (...or judge... or any other person who holds power over others and is NOT ELECTED) unlike other men, with a favorable presumption that they do no wrong. If there is any presumption, it is the other way against holders of power ... Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. The truth of this fact is that the more power one has the more it tends to corrupt them. The only solution is to elected people with power whenever possible so that they can be removed WHEN they start abusing it. (Notice I say WHEN and not IF... since it is rare in humanity to find saints living among us. Any Saints that do come about tend to get killed by other with power who reach the level of demonds by the degree that power corrupts them. So yes it is much more likely that a person with power will be corrupt than it is for them not to be. This is a fact of life people must not forget to remember. What he is in fact saying is that they should be considered GUILTY untill they proove themselves innocent. The presumption is THAT THEY WILL DO WRONG because absolute power WILL corrupt. Quote

I wouldn't say we work harder than the poor fellow in a third world country running shoe factory. No I don't work that hard. I appreciate that our govt provides us with much needed services which we pay for through taxes. Yes we pay too much taxes... everybody always complains about taxes. Drea Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 What makes you think I sell to the government? I sell to private businesses -- corporations, individual owner/operators, partnerships... but rarely to govt. Canadians work harder than any other people on earth. Each person has to be responsible for thier retirement to a certain extent. My father didn't save a penny until he was 58, twenty years later (he just retired) he has enough money to live comfortably for another twenty. Although I do believe that the government should be responsible for assiting seniors so that their income is enough to let them lead a relatively comfortable life. Even the poorest Euro member nation has twise the value for basic pensions which is what the majority of people retire on. Most people did not work for the government nor have union employment. The basic Canada pension of ~$1000 a month or $250 per week is not enough to live on in Canada with our much higher basic cost of living. Quote

I think another problem is that we as a society are living too long. Back in the day people were lucky to see 65, and at 65 a person can still positively contribute to society. Now people can easily live into their 80's and 90's, what good is a person that age to society? That is a huge drain, and those people are generally a shadow of their former selves. I hope I only last till 65 and go out with my boots on. Walk in there and say "What good are you - you lazy government teatsucking seniors?!" Come on -- I dare yah. My father, aged 78, just retired last year - so those 13 years he worked beyond age 65 were an illusion? You mean he is really suffering from some kinda dimensia and never really contributed during those years? My god! Our whole family is having a delusion! We saw him go to work after 65 -- honest to god WE SAW HIM WORKING AND CONTRIBUTING! People like you do not deserve to live beyond 65. Keep eatin' butter baby. Quote ...jealous much? Booga Booga!
