Why is this important? Well, for those of us who agree that there are Moderate muslims out there, but also argue that these moderates tend to acquiesce to the militants out of fear - this certainly lends support that fact.

I don't think this lends any support for that "fact" (theory). The fact that this show is on air proves that moderate muslims (the writer of the show for instance) obviously aren't afraid to poke fun at their culture.

Of course, I am going to use this thread as a soapbox to slam the CBC, and the former Liberal government policies on multicultural brain washing.

As for being poorly informed about gun ownership or C68, that is not the case. The Liberals brought in this restricted set of laws, and Kim Campbell brought in C17, another set of restrictive laws from Red Tories.

I am so surprised that a Liberal would own a gun....now that is a contradiction! I hope it is not a semi-auto or a handgun, because it the Liebrals come in power again, they will try to take it away from you. You better start looking for way to conceal it. Speaking of Hockey Night In Canada and Little Mosque on the Prairie - I have to say I laughed out loud on Saturday night watching the Calgary / Vancouver game.

The commentators were reading the promo for upcoming programming. I actually heard Jim Huson (play-by-play man - CBC Hockey) say:

"Catch the upcoming episode of Little Mosque on the prairie with (Haziz) and (Abdullah) get in a tizzy over the prospect of co-ed swimming"

BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I laughed so fricken hard when I heard that. Poor Jim had to keep a straight face in between the action while readin such drivel.

What a clear juxtaposition between traditional Canadian society (Hockey Night In Canada) and the imported multi-culti version that we're all being told makes us so much better.

Since when is going back to the dark ages a positive excercise in diversity?

I think the most hilarious part about this show is how it trivializes things like women's rights into a comedic muslim rah-rah session.

Hospitals delivering anchor babies, not able to refuse aid to anyone of any descent for any infraction in an american hospital and thus Cali hospitals going broke or closing .Legions of undocumented workers hanging out at every Home Depot in full view of ICE . Illegals walking away from motor vehicle accidents because LE has no resources for the illegals , and ICE wont come and pick them up for days if not weeks and the local PD has neither the room nor the resources to keep them incarcerated. So be careful what you wish for becasue the reality is far worse than ANYTHING we have here.

Christianity is neither first second nor fiftieth in my book. It may have been the religion of the time, but that is neither relevant nor needed in todays world. Most CDNS want no "religion" to have any influence on a politicians thought process. None nada zip. And since only about 16% of CDN s go to church it should be easy to see why.This country would go nuts if a Politician answered "because God directed me too" .

I have to admit that I've yet to make me see a full episode yet. So my impressions are purely from those commercials. And they aren't much positive, judging from the commercials.

I mean I'm for the freedom. I've argued here for the right of anyone to wear what they want any time they want. However my excitement ends when someone feelgoody attempts to make me believe there's something positive in these practices. I mean, you don't want to swim - you absolutely have right for that - and I may even understand that it's important for the future salvation of your soul - but I fail to find anything funny or educational in it. Just a fact that some people have some strange beliefs and it's OK as long as we can all leave together peacefully. No further education needed, at least on my part.

I agree 100%, and when you add on the smarmy CBC style and stagey Canadian acting it makes for pretty bad television.
