Canadian Blue Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 QUOTE(Canadian Blue @ Dec 10 2006, 04:52 PM) This thread is rediculous, and should be shut down. And then I presume you agree that this thread is also ridiculous and should be shut down: http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums//index.php?showtopic=7456 ??? Sure, along with these threads. http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums//index....=7001&hl=Harper http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums//index....=7174&hl=Harper http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums//index....wtopic=6925&hl= Yet somehow, it took a thread comparing Dion to Kerry for you to get really outraged. normanchateau Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 This thread is rediculous, and should be shut down. How about the thread that the Liberal hidden agenda is to turn Canada into Holland. Do you think it should be shut down? It's also ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with ridicule in my opinion. Paul Martin certainly received his fair share. With time, so will Dion.
Canadian Blue Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 Norman, GH just made this thread because he was angry that Kerry was being compared to Dion. This isn't in good fun, more or less its just about somebody whining because his guy is getting attacked instead of Harper. "Keep your government hands off my medicare!" - GOP activist

Canadian Blue Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 Hell yeah, I wish Canada was more like Sweden actually. They seem to be doing pretty good, and apparently everybody get's free post secondary. As I've said before I would support legalizing weed, and opening needle exchanges, however not if it mean's were gonna see thousands lose jobs. normanchateau Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 As I've said before I would support legalizing weed, ..., however not if it mean's were gonna see thousands lose jobs. Other than so-cons, who cares if thousands of criminals lose their jobs and the money instead goes into government coffers? The Fraser Institute, a fiscally but not necessarily socially conservative think tank, seems to think this would be a good idea. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2004/06/09/...aser040609.html http://www.prohibitioncosts.org/decrim.pdf
southerncomfort Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 Another useless thread Unfortunately it looks like the no tolerance rule has been forgotten. http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums//index.php?showtopic=7087 http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums//index....=zero+tolerance I agree GHatrick is bringing this forum down not so good reading anymore toodles

I'm talking about economic consequences if the US decides to do a clampdown on the border. I don't really care if criminals lose their jobs, besides most drug dealers live with their parents. I'm talking about economic consequences if the US decides to do a clampdown on the border. I think we should not be held hostage to irrational US drug policies. Per capita, the US has more people in jail for drug possession than any country in the world. Besides, the US needs our natural resources and I can't imagine them giving up our resources because we don't jail young Canadians for simple possession.
sharkman Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 Another thread, another hijack by norm and his favourite topic, drugs.
Forum Admin Greg Posted December 11, 2006 Forum Admin Report Posted December 11, 2006 This thread is downright ignorant - and about as ignorant as some of you are behaving towards each other. I've already banned one member today, and suspended another. Perhaps if some of you keep this up, more will be joining them. Have any issues, problems using the forum?
