The Wailing Wall is open all year round and doesn't attract pilgrims in any number close to Mecca. A stampede is an issue of crowd control not religious intolerance. Your argument on stampedes of people could apply to any major sporting event, concert or crowded building that has a fire. The U.S. has a stampede every other year where people get killed. A lot of the Muslims I know are white converts or Asian Muslims. Their interest in Israel is scant at best. Some of them have lived in Canada for a few generations. They have been critical of extremists acting in the name of their faith but the community here is very small, I don't know that there is a central spokesman for Muslims. In Toronto, it was Muslims who informed on the young men who planned on attacks in Ontario. Quote
