yes we are going to use tax payers money and buy out the bankers and condo owners then convert all of them in to low income housing.....Does it really have anything to do with low income housing....no it has to do with the buy out to bankers....My only question here is how does a banker think this is a good idea....how does a liberal voter think this is a good idea....

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

I can't speak for Liberal voters but as a lefty it seems to me the Conservatives complain like  Dippers but sympathize like Liberals.

During the 2008 global financial crisis, the federal Conservative government under Prime Minister Stephen Harper launched the Insured Mortgage Purchase Program (IMPP).The Action: Through the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), the government bought up to $69 billion in bank-held, insured mortgage pools. This injected massive amounts of emergency cash directly into Canada's largest banks.

There being a single salient point.

"During the 2008 global financial crisis"

What we have today is the 2026 Carney Liberal crisis. Caused by the Liberals and being payed for by you and me.

Nearly 40% of the world’s population—approximately 3 billion people—currently lack access to secure, safe, and adequate housing.

You're saying Carney caused this global housing crisis?

No, this is being caused by the fact there are too few resources and too many people in the world.
