Treatment for internal bleeding often happens in a single day, usually as an emergency procedure at a hospital to stabilize blood pressure and surgically seal or stop the bleed. Some minor cases require only observation, while others are treated on an outpatient basis.

NOT within hours. 

Ross showed he was fine when he briskly walked a block to examine the crash site and then briskly walked 2 blocks back to his buddies.

Even if he got treated promptly for "internal bleeding," they don't discharge you the same day in case they missed something. Duh
