Trump says oil prices will drop like a rock. It’ll be more like a feather

• "Over, and over, and over again, Trump has said energy prices will “drop like a rock” as soon as peace is negotiated and the Strait of Hormuz reopens."

Fact: Oil was trading as high as $111/bbl in the past month. It's down below $80 now. If that's not "dropping like a stone" then nothing is.

Even since their snotty article came out yesterday it is down $5/bbl lol.

• CNN yesterday: “Normal” — i.e. the sub-$70 Brent crude price from before the war — is just around 15 bucks away." (so $85-ish) 
• AI search result today:  "Brent crude is trading at $79.97 per barrel and U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude is at $77.23 per barrel". ($80-ish)

 

Only three cultists on the entire planet denied that the price of oil is dropping like a stone:

• an internet poster named eyeba11 said "It's safe to say that oil prices are in the $110/bbl range, and if you buy it, you can't get it below $109. Neither can your granny."
• an internet poster named B34V3R said: "Despite the fact that there's zero evidence that the price of oil is still anywhere near $110/bbl, there are reasons to believe that it is." 
• an internet poster named herboie said: "I bought oil with my cc at $40/bbl yesterday and sold it for $120 this morning, tripling my money. The price of oil is actually going up today!"

On foreign policy Trump 2.0, 9/10 it was clear the government ran better without a president on international decision, and to be fair giving credit where credit is due, sleepy joe administration just continued Trump 1.0 policies. On domestic policy vs sleepy joe , 15/10.
