For instance...'science' tells us that climate studies have shown that Man has probably caused some warming of our planet's overall climate. It has never claimed said change was a matter of urgent action at the expense of the entire economy.

It's why the first place I go on any study is the Conflicts of Interest at the end.  Who is paying for this study?

I agree. They have been corrupted. That needs to be halted. Science needs to be allowed to research as freely as possible.

Christians  believe that God made  all beings. This belief is rooted in the Christian  doctrine of creation which asserts that God created the universe and all that is within it.
