.............. if he didn't he'd have been committing an arguably worse sin - suicide. 

Suicide is sin. God forbids murder (Exodus 20:13) and taking one's own life is murder. 

Basically, the sad sack (Christian) is fk'd either way. 

In any event, didn't the crusades involve a lot of Christians?

That man should be applauded for his bravery during this terrorist attack and nobody should deny that.

But it shouldn't detract from the real issue, namely that there is an issue with violence associated with that faith. Even if one assumes that only 1% are extremist, that is still tens of millions of people out there.

We should be allowed to discuss it without fear of violent retribution.

And TBH, he probably didn't know that it was "muslims shooting at Jews" when he took the gun away, because no one has any reason to assume such a thing 🤡

Had he known that it was muslims shooting at Jews, there's a very real chance that he wouldn't have interfered. There are at least 2 posters on this site who wouldn't have interfered given that bit of information: Gaetan and Radiorum.
