Of course not, they don't give a shit one way or another about Trump, Carney, Canada or the US. All they care about is making money.

LOL holy crap, just when i think you can't say anything dumber than you usually do......  :)

I'm sorry to break it to you kid but business investors hang on every word carney and trump say :)  the gov't plays a HUGE role in how their investments might go. They practically dictate the market.

You can't care about money (real money anyway) and not care about what trump and carney are saying if you're going to invest in north america.

LOL  Yeash.

And with a crooked tax evader in charge of the US and a tax avoider in charge up here...

Well as you yourself said many times, you don't want a politician leading the country, you want a businessman.  Like trump or carney. That's SO much better than someone with a life time experience in politics and running the country's finance.  Hey you got what you wanted in both cases, you must be so happy :)

Which doesn't have to do with liberals... it has to do with more wealth creation and the fact the world's largest and most profitable equities are US based.

Why did more US money start coming to Canada after 2015?

An absolute lie, and one that I've proven to you with charts graphs links facts and data is absolutely wrong.

Yet you keep on lying.

If you have to tell a lie to make your point it's not a very good point.

Canada has always for 150 years been able to attract more investment than it lost to the united states. In the last recent years that has been the opposite. The reason for that is liberal policies which have harmed Canada's economy and caused investors to have no faith in our country

Hell, even our prime minister just promised the Americans that we would invest a trillion bucks over the next few years and they're economy and moved his own business to the states.

I doubt they spend even a fraction of the time you do obsessing over what they're promising or not, especially the brain farts Trump is famous for.

I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical,
a liberal, oh fanatical criminal

It has a lot to do with the Liberals, because they significantly suppressed wealth creation in Canada.  And because of that, investment followed.  You helped make that happen.  Congratulations.

They do.  You've never been able to make money other than your salary so investment is foreign to you but frankly someone spending billions is QUITE worried about what the policy is in the country they're spending those billions.

This is litearlly the very reason embridge gave as to why they're investing in the states right now and not canada.  Directly and specifically. They do not care for the gov't's policies or regulatory framework and have no faith in the gov't.

No, tax avoidance is all perfectly legal.

So you figure the rich should pay more? Bullshit you do.

He's playing a game with you.  More money did come in because economies grew etc, but even MORE money went out.

You're correctly talking net dollars while he's trying to suggest the gross coming in went up so you're a liar.  It's dishonest.

So he's going to claim you were wrong because 'More money came in."   In other words if you give me 5 dollars and i give you 10 back he'll claim "why did you give him more money" without addressing the 10 i gave back

He’ll probably ignore all of the tax money Canada had to promise in order to attract any investment, when before that, investment came into Canada without tax money being necessary.

You have lots of charts and are off on a tangent now with standards of living and violent crime, but still avoiding answering why more US investment started coming into Canada after 2015.  Why?

Are you referring to non net investment?

LOL told ya :)

He's an extremely dishonest poster  who relies on tricks and slight of hand to try to make arguments instead of reason and fact.  One of the reasons he doesn't like me, most snake oil peddlers don't.

Oh so you are referring to non net investment.  That has to do with real estate and inflation.

Oh for sure, you'd have to be nuts to think the US is a good investment these days. Go ask Hyundai or this guy.

Hedge fund manager and billionaire Ray Dalio has warned that the U.S. may be entering a new kind of “civil war” amid rising inequality and debt, as well as a breakdown in the global geopolitical order.

No.  Housing is cheaper in the United States.  Significantly cheaper in 2015-2020.  The Liberals destroyed the housing market in Canada.  Great for anyone selling or investing though.  Well, until this year.

Real estate values move up and down based on many factors..  Always have and always will.

Without looking.... I'd bet one hell of a lot more Canadian's own homes in the US as opposed to American's owning homes in Canada.
