August1991 Posted September 27, 2025 Report Posted September 27, 2025 We have these choices: Left A: Rabourin Left B: Sauve Sorta Left: Soraya (Her face is plastered everywhere like Melanie Jolie was.) ==== Leftists claim that a single, centralised way of doing things will save money, make things cheaper. August1991 Posted October 9, 2025 Author Report Posted October 9, 2025 (edited) Since Rabourin and Sauve are splitting the vote, I predict Soraya will be the next mayor. BTW: Soraya was once a federal Liberal cabinet minister. Edited October 9, 2025 by August1991 Quote

August1991 Posted October 11, 2025 Author Report Posted October 11, 2025 And each conseiller has a vote to change the zoning rules. Quote
500channelsurfer Posted October 26, 2025 Report Posted October 26, 2025 Gilbert Thibodeau is also running for mayor with his party Action Montreal. He is to the right of Soraya, who I see as also right-leaning albeit less so. If either left party would decide to keep Camilien-Houde open, this would be to their great advantage. As is, I agree Soraya has an edge. Quote

Soraya Ferreda, a federal Liberal, will be Montreal's next mayor. Quote

In Quebec, we vote on Sundays. Our municipal election date is Sun 2 Nov. In Montreal, I predict "Soraya" (the federal Liberal) will be Montreal's next mayor. ===== Rabouin/Sauve divided the vote. There was no Mamdani. Quote

August1991 Posted November 4, 2025 Author Report Posted November 4, 2025 Personne ne parle de Thibodeau. ===== IMHO this is the Reagan/Trump story in this election. Quote

August1991 Posted November 4, 2025 Author Report Posted November 4, 2025 I voted on Sunday. My neighbour's four year old voted also. Twice! https://www.electionsquebec.qc.ca/voter/accompagnez-vos-enfants-aux-petits-bureaux-de-vote/ 1 Quote
