It took about 15 years for MLK's impact on the American experience to start to settle in. I would say he was far less divisive at that time. .... At the time, MLK was as divisive. Trust me. ===== America? I was simply wondering about turn-offs from the I-95. I sorta know about the MLK Jnr Expressways. Should I now know about CK Expressways? Quote

If he wanted a better world for all, that could be argued... But there would be significant political pushback from "cities", I would imagine. Some examples of his provocative comments: https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/charlie-kirk-did-stoning-gay-120003332.html There is no video available for "Kirk invoked a Bible verse about stoning gay people "to death" on a June 2024 episode of his podcast with Jack Posobiec, calling it "God's perfect law when it comes to sexual matters" from what i can see, and sources that made that claim come up blank when you click the links. Considering how much leftists lie, I'm gonna have to rate that as 100% false until I see some video. I just looked and Snopes rates it as lie... It's open to interpretation." - robobigot
WestCanMan Posted September 17, 2025 Report Posted September 17, 2025 I'll be honest about Kirk: I find his position on abortion to fall in the "nutty outlier" category. I personally disregard people from the "Conceived by rape: so what? You still must carry to term!" and the "1 minute before birth = 100% ok to abort" camps. While Kirk does have a lot of important info for people about abortion, I would strongly advise any woman under 35 who got pregnant via rape to abort their baby. And that would just be my own simple and quick advice, fwiw. Honestly, above 35, I would just keep my mouth shut. I'd hate to give that advice to someone and then they never end up getting pregnant again. I actually watched the clip that this wide derives from and it is so obvious that he never ever suggested stone and gaze that it's not even funny. It's just a 100% blatant lie. A female personality was saying that you have to love your neighbor no matter what without exception according to this section in the bible and Charlie's whole point was that doesn't mean you accept what they do as being okay or that you don't attempt to address it if they're doing something wrong and she claimed don't know the bible says you have to accept them no matter what and Charlie pointed out well the verse right before the one you are quoting says that gay men should be stoned to death so I think we need to take the bible a little less literally in some cases and look at it's meaning because obviously that's not okay. He was literally saying that it would be crazy to call for the stoning of gay men just because the bible has a verse that says that absent context or interpretation. The same turns out to be true for the claim that they make saying he says that children should be forced to watch executions. He never said that at all. They're just making shit up to make him sound worse so their own bad actions seem better or more justified 1 hour ago, WestCanMan said: There is no video available for "Kirk invoked a Bible verse about stoning gay people "to death" on a June 2024 episode of his podcast with Jack Posobiec, calling it "God's perfect law when it comes to sexual matters" from what i can see, and sources that made that claim come up blank when you click the links.
