There's clean energy in nuclear subs and aircraft carriers. Always has been. They also use some solar power where it's advantageous as well.

But FYI the military is all about reliability and mobility, and there are currently no green alternatives that are as reliable and as energy-dense as fossil fuels. 

EVs have short range and are extremely hampered by cold weather, as was evidenced by the cold-weather EV fiasco in Chicago and other US cities. EVs are also about 40% heavier than internal combustion vehicles just because of the battery weight, which means that it is harder and less reliable for them to go across sand and in muddy conditions, as well as the cold. 

"We coulda fought the Russians if our vehicles weren't bogged down in the mud while they were speeding around us. Better luck next time, I guess." 

 

The military HAS TO choose the best, most reliable options, 100% of the time. The climate change farce is not even a consideration when it comes to military preparedness.

According to the Ministry of Propaganda, climate alarmism has to be added to every bill that goes through congress, just like stores had to say "OMG WE'RE AFRAID OF COVID HERE, SO WE ENACTED ALL OF THESE POLICIES TO KEEP US ALL FROM DYING!!!! GOD SAVE THE FAUCH!!!" if they wanted to stay open in 2020.

The rate is increasing to anyone who is paying attention. What was thought to take a century is now happening much faster and the rate won’t be linear.

Most of the warming so far has gone into the oceans and us land dwellers haven’t seen the worst of it.
