The NDP may be in even bigger trouble than we think

Here's the TLDR,

Political parties get the money back that they spent on their campaign when the election is over provided they qualify. The NDP lost so badly it hardly qualified for anything. So now they have tens of millions of dollars in loans and no way to pay it back

The legal consequences of not paying it back are severe.

Worse there's a Grassroots Rebellion that's organized and vocal who's mad about how the Central Committee has handled things.

Within the next 2 to 3 years we may see the collapse of the NDP unless they can figure a way out of it and start getting people donating again

And while i first thought "bon voyage", the world is going to be a better place with unicorns and rainbows all the way around...

But i asked myself this question, where are these NDP voters going to park their votes...the green party, well sane people don't vote green there are extreme left...yes they more than likely be reinforcing the Liberal party and thats not really a good position for Conservatives we need more left sided party's to split the vote...

Was all this the consequences of voting liberal for strategic reasons, because the left can't stand PP ?

Maybe they should divide all the costs to all those MP candidates that ran ,maybe old sing will have give back some of that pension....

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

If they collapse entirely there's a good chance that members within it will start up a new party. Maybe the green democrat party :)

But yeah, it wouldn't be great for conservatives that's for sure.

Oooh don't get all wet down there thinking about it.

It ain't gonna happen. Sorry!

Why do you have sexual fantasies every time you feel emotionally threatened? It's really weird

And sadly it's already happening. This isn't exactly good news for anybody except the liberals. But they are going to have a heart as hell time to come back from this and they might not make it this time
