Statistics Canada revised their population clock, as Canada is now finally starting to curtail mass migration. It peaked in 2023, and is expected to come down to historical levels within a couple of years.

Since 2021, Toronto has been the fastest growing city in absolute numbers, easily eclipsing NYC, LA, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Atlanta, and Washington DC.  Toronto is now the 6th largest metro area in North America, only behind NYC, LA, Chicago, Dallas-Ft.Worth, and Houston. 

Calgary has been arguably the fastest growing city of the past 20 years. In 2024, the population was roughly 1,000,000 people. After stagnant growth in the 90s/early 2000s, Winnipeg has passed Hamilton and Quebec, to regain the #7 spot in terms of population.

Of course. Trudeau is gone And the CPC will be getting in So obviously immigration will return to sane levels.

Does that mean the CPC proudly has zero interest in populating the other 99% of the country?
The point was that over half the population lives in 9 major centres and only Edmonton is even considered 'northern'. Sweet F*** All to do with immigration but that gets mentioned by a resident redneck.

That point was never made. i'm sorry but that's just in your head. If that was his point he certainly never expressed that in any way. So seeing as it was never mentioned being angry that it was never addressed seems kind of silly
