So like the person in last place would get gold and then second last would get silver and third last bronze?

Would we have to test athletes for performance diminishing drugs?

Yeah, that was stupid. I seem to remember another Canadian being caught with Benadryl in their system. Benadryl is anything but performance-enhancing.

They did not get "booted" for performance enhancing drugs". They got booted for using a banned substance.

What many do not understand is not all banned drugs are "performance enhancing" but they are masking drugs or chemicals that can mask PED's in their system. The list of masking agents is a lot longer and intensive than the actual PED's.

I was involved in amateur athletics (sports) and had to be aware of them It was so complicated it truly needs a medical professional to sort it out.

Moot point. If they're performance enhancing the Olympic jocks should ban them. Otherwise f*** off and MYOB. Ski Jump after chewing peyote buttons if they want to.
It got absurd when people got dropped from some competitions for drinking an espresso an hour before testing.

Never endorsed the goody-two-shoes BS in sports, kneeling in prayer in the locker room or football huddles, etc. Rather of old days top NHLers having a smoke between periods if they wanted to.

It is not moot.

Some drugs are illegal, peyote buttons, marijuana etc and are banned not just in sport but in many countries.

Please prove espresso drinking caused an  athlete form competing. and in what competition.

And lastly, you are comparing have a smoke of a cigarette is the same as taking a banned drug or a masking agent to mask the use of the banned drug?

Bottom line, countries like USSR, Russia, Romania, China, East Germany etc pumped up their athletes to win competitions against non drug using clean athletes? That was OK by you?

I suppose these trans men posing as women and competing in womens sports now is OK with you too???

I want athletes, from all sports, to be on the same playing field. Steroids are for WWE.
