gatomontes99 Posted May 27, 2024 Report Posted May 27, 2024 CNN — Before indicting Donald Trump last year for allegedly mishandling classified documents, federal prosecutors had to decide where to bring the charges: Washington, DC, or Florida. Ultimately, they charged the former president in Florida, a decision that has proven to be a fateful one — underscored by the vastly different approaches taken by DC judges as compared to the federal judge now presiding over the criminal case in Florida. Why hide it? CNN is openly calling for the DOJ to do a better job of being a banana republic. Quote Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?
CdnFox Posted May 28, 2024 Report Posted May 28, 2024 This surprises no one. And this is why people are losing faith in the American judicial system. It has become a political tool rather than a legal tool. Canada has more than its fair share of problems with judicial activism, but in the states it is become an absolutely corrosive force that threatens to undermine the foundations of the nation Quote "That which doesn't kill me... LMAO That's not the topic. The topic is that a "news" agency is lamenting that the DOJ wasn't better at being a banana republic. 1 Quote Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

LMAO If you're making a choice - then it's banana republic. The idea that you'd be making a choice suggests that you feel you're going to get a different result at one rather than another. And that pretty strongly reeks of banana republic. But seeing as you buy into that i guess that makes you the chimp? 1 Quote "That which doesn't kill me... Had better start running."
