CdnFox
https://nationalpost.com/news/politics/canada-is-broken Most Canadians believe “everything is broken in the country right now,” and more people agree with that statement than just one year ago, according to a new national survey. Canadians across political lines were on the same page when it came to the perception that Canada is broken, with 70 per cent agreeing with the statement. Most Conservative voters (85 per cent) backed the idea. Notably, two-thirds of NDP voters (66 per cent) agreed, in addition to 58 per cent of Bloc Québécois voters and a fair number of Liberal ones. “Interestingly, these conservative or liberal-leaning people live in the same country, but it’s like they live in two different worlds,” he said in an email. “In terms of who’s getting it right, research suggests that the conservatives are likely closer to a view that aligns with reality.” -David Haskell, a Laurier professor
CdnFox
If you read the article and look at the numbers the state is currently set for a left wing collapse during an election The ndp support is furious and is ready to either leave the ndp and go to the cpc or just stay home - which is exactly what we saw in the recent byelection. The liberal die hards are hanging on a bit but there's not all that many of them and close to half of the libs are unhappy and that's growing. A lot of those people will stay home and not vote. Meanwhile the conservative voters are psyched. I think the durham by election where the cpc won by well over 50 percent may turn out to be foreshadowing of the next election unless something radical changes. Boom, now everyone's happy and will vote Liberal. LoL Still no dental practices on board yet.

This is going to be a major problem for the ndp as well - all their 'flagship' projects which were the excuse for sticking with the libs have gone badly. Daycare is doing very poorly, the dental plan is a fail, now their drug plan only covers two thing and one of them isn't an 'illness' and both were already covered in a number of provinces. So they're going to have a hell of a time selling people on the idea they're relevant And in fact they're bleeding to the cpc of all people pretty heavy right now. If the libs were capable of producing something that wasn't a disaster they'd have done it by now - i have a difficult time believing they were just lulling people into a false sense of security for 10 years before they pounce

People are just realizing this now? Canada's been in need of repairs for decades.
