No, some jobs are worth more than others.

And those who are worth more for society are Teachers, Nurses and public employees.

Not the fat pigs that are elected and receive a pension after only 6 years, which can be added on top of their private pension plan from their past or future career.

30% in a year for MPs is the last thing we needed in Quebec, this is very cynical and opportunistic from the CAQ who are losing ground in almost every county.

Some jobs are worth more than others, in all sectors.

Good teachers, bad teachers. Good nurses, bad nurses, good public servants but mostly bad public servants.

Please do not group Quebec in with other provinces. Pay your taxes and then you can pay yoru employees. Don't wait for the feds to give you more....like you always do.

You seem very confused.

What exactly is your point?

I have no point...neither do you, so this thread can go in any direction LOL

Once again, you're very confused and my point is very clear. The pay increase for the elected officials was preposterous and the offer given to actual workers is underwhelming to say the least.

The CAQ was elected in Oct 2022 with a majority.

In Jun 2023, the MNAs received a 30% increase.

There's a $8 million subsidy to get the LA Kings to play in Quebec.

And there's the tramway, third bridge in Quebec City.

Now, there's ugly public sector negotiations.

Legault and CAQ is a total f<up the situation.  Own goals, as they say.

=====

He has until October 2026. Legault is in the driver's seat.

I wish international disputes -foreigners- could decide their disputes as we Canadians do.

We Canadians have a federal system with two official languages, we have two legal systems. Catholics live beside Protestants.

For centuries, largely in peace, we various people get along.

Good deal:

Sur le plan des salaires, le Front commun a obtenu des augmentations de 17,4 % sur cinq ans, lesquelles s’accompagnent d’une clause de protection du pouvoir d’achat pour chacune des trois dernières années de la convention collective
