The I.R.S. has placed a lien on a Florida property owned by Rudolph W. Giuliani, the former New York City mayor and lawyer for Donald J. Trump, because he owes roughly $550,000 in income taxes, according to a court filing.

The property, a lakeside condominium in Palm Beach, sits less than three miles from Mar-a-Lago, Mr. Trump’s private club and residence. Mr. Giuliani and his ex-wife had tried to sell it for $3.3 million in 2019, but never found a buyer.

The existence of the court filing in Palm Beach County was first reported by The Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, Al Sharpton STILL owes MILLIONS in taxes.

The IRS has become the KGB.

Another aspect to the rabid, adamant internet forum poster that is perplexing is their love of fantasy. They harbor these grand and completely unrealistic ideas. Ideas that have 0% chance of ever coming to pass. Yet they waste their time writing post after post about it... One example is eliminating the IRS. Not going to happen. The name may change and they may downsize but there will always be a revenue collecting portion of the government.

Weaklings sprint to safe spaces and pretend to be impartial. I've always found these cowards to be amusing as they're useless to everyone but the leftist scumbags that use them. ;)

Weaklings sit and complain about things that they know that they themselves can't change. You know that you alone are not bring about the end of the IRS.. yet you sit and whine about it.

The whiners are Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferers. My IRS thing will die long before you stop crying about Donald Trump. ;)

Show me some explicit quotes where I "cry" about Trump..

Your posts about eliminating the IRS are nothing but pointless whining that will never translate into tangible action. You know this.. yet have not the character to own up to this.

1. I'll get back to you on that one.

2. I'm not the only one. It's on the minds of true Americans. The whining comes from your ldiotic insistence that the IRS is invincible. lol

Haha.. so when I say that the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Atlanta Braves 3-1 in the NLDS.. i am whining about the Phillies.  It is simply a matter of objective reality... my liking or not is not relevant (and that means you as well..your approval means nothing).

So you're whining about the Phillies because you're a Braves fan. So what? Are you trying to tell me that you're a also a fan of the IRS?

I’m a fan of obeying the law and paying your taxes.  People like Guliani have had their federal taxes slashed over and over and should pay what there is to pay.

Institute a Fair Tax and there won't BE anymore slashing - everyone will pay based on their purchases, and we won't have to listen to socialists like you crying about other people's money.

Agreed.

Now, where do you stand with the Fair Tax? Would you support it?

I don’t think there’s anything fair about the “fair tax. In truth, it’s a con and it’s a lie. Let me explain:

”Hey, the only reason is rich people exploit every tax loophole we can is because the tax rates are progressive. If the tax rates were flat, we would just pay our flat percentage.” That’s the con right there. Eliminating deductions has nothing to do with the income tax rate. There is no coupling of the two.

Low income earners make their money from payroll.  But high income earners make their money from investment and business income. If your income is business income, your car is a deduction, your jet is a deduction, the yacht is a deduction, and on and on.  They are all “business expenses.” The Company pays for it. That’s how wealthy people evade taxes.
If we have a flat tax, none of that changes.  The salary earner still pays taxes on every dime, and the high income earner spends his business money on “business expenses.”

But the poor and middle class will pay more.

When Eisenhower was President, we had a 90% tax bracket. I think that was way too high.  But today’s top bracket is only 37 percent, with a low of 10%. So who wins with a flat tax? Will the lowest earners pay less than 10%? No. Will the highest income earners pay less than 37%? Yes. And right there, my friend, is the con.

See, you're thinking like a Socialist. You want everyone to be equally poor with the government distributing the poverty, equally.

The Flat Tax would work. Those who want more "stuff" would pay more in taxes. Everyone would be paying for what they could afford. THAT is how it should be.

Are crazy?

We have PLENTY of very, very rich people in America despite the existence of progressive taxation.

Good lord.. you are dense.  By your logic... If I state an objective fact such as the Texas Rangers leading the Houston Astros in the ALCS 2- 0 .... I must be whining about the Texas Rangers.. How did you ever get past middle school?  Any government needs revenue... this is an objective fact and your approval is not necessary for this to exist. So no matter the name (IRS) or structure.. any government will have to collect revenue.. again, your approval means nothing.

You are confusing as f*ck. lol

I'm going to make this very simple for you: Do you support the current tax system with a growing IRS, or would rather see the whole thing streamlined by using a Fair Tax?

Now remember, stoopid; you ARE a voter, so you CAN push for changes like moving to a Fair Tax, instead.

Given only those two options (which is completely unrealistic and yes.. you are well aware of how ridiculous you are).. I would go with the a streamlined version. However, this is fantasy on your part so feel free to have your moment alone stroking yourself.

My one vote is not going to change it all on its own. Yes, I know yours will.

What I would stand behind is a simplification of the tax code. The two primary areas where I would have the amount of rules/exceptions trimmed down are the Schedule K (transfer of property) and form 706 (estate taxes). If you really want to know.. the IRS has lower employment today than it did in 2010. Mainly because most folks do their taxes online and not on paper but that contradicts your fantasy world.

A lot of the highest "earners" (like Bezos) don't even get much business income. They borrow money using their stock as collateral. AKA, not income, no tax.

Perfect. Then how about you stfu and push for some change? I'm not interested in hearing about what you think is impossible or realistic, or any other bullshit defeatist opinion. We need PATRIOTS, not left-wingers and their reliable centrists.

Well... your fantasies have not materialized yet.. Why is that? I know that things being realistic is not part of your schpiel.

Irrespective of your opinion of the tax system, which is comparable to other western countries, Giliuani still owes half a million bucks.
