Hunter Biden sues former Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani over infamous laptop

Quote

Hunter Biden on Tuesday sued former Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, his companies, and another attorney over alleged violations of computer fraud and data access related to a laptop computer Biden is said to have left at a Delaware repair shop.

From the suit: “For the past many months and even years, Defendants have dedicated an extraordinary amount of time and energy toward looking for, hacking into, tampering with, manipulating, copying, disseminating, and generally obsessing over data that they were given that was taken or stolen from Plaintiff’s devices or storage platforms, including what Defendants claim to have obtained from Plaintiff’s alleged ‘laptop’ computer.”

The suit also says Biden’s data was “manipulated, altered and damaged” before it was copied.

Violation of Delaware LAW:

Quote
§ 12B-100. Protection of personal information.

Any person who conducts business in this State and owns, licenses, or maintains personal information shall implement and maintain reasonable procedures and practices to prevent the unauthorized acquisition, use, modification, disclosure, or destruction of personal information collected or maintained in the regular course of business.

AKA, giving the laptop to Rudy was a CRIME.

Nobody's been charged with a crime so.....  probably not.

It's a civil case, it'll be interesting to see how it plays out

Of course Hunter's action is a civil case, but violation of the law is criminal if the AG decides to prosecute.

Sooooo - nobody has decided to prosecute.  So... it's obviously not a criminal case.

Sigh, i'll look and see if i can find a grade school law book to explain this to you, maybe one with lots of pictures....

Sure you did - just one that apperently doesn't exist. Except in your mind :)

Sorry kiddo - no crime is being alleged here :)  Back to the drawing board.
