I love Nevada, and I especially love Las Vegas. My wife and I use to go to Vegas at least once a year. I enjoyed walking the strip at night with all the bright casino lights flashing away. The night life is fantastic in Vegas. Everyone should visit Las Vegas at least once in their lifetime. Ching-ching. ?

I live in Reno but have been to LV three times (2 for work and 1 for pleasure). Its fun but too hot for my liking. Reno is warm but not quite as that of LV. Summer highs in Reno are at most 105 for a week and then back to 97 to 100. Vegas is high of 110 with a low of 85 from early may to late Sept. The beauty of NV is the wide open spaces and libertarian attitude. The politics here are pretty subdued in comparison to Oregon, Washington, Texas, Minnesota, and Illinois.
