Biological sources of CO2 (like termites) DO NOT increase atmospheric concentrations of GHG which CAUSE CLIMATE CHANGE.

Excuse me, SHITTTTT FOR BRAINS, but there is no CARBON being released into the atmosphere. Carbon as a solid cannot rise like that. Carbon DIOXIDE is released into the atmosphere, mostly from TERMITES and other NATURAL sources. And CO2 is less than a percentage point of all greenhouse gasses.

We've already been over this, you mor0n.

Are you just too STUPID to handle the facts?

You're just too stupid to understand ^these OPINIONS are NOT FACTS.

The 'C' in CO2 means it CONTAINS CARBON. Duh.

I hope you're not teaching your version of "science" to your students because you'd be setting them up to FAIL in life.

I gave RELIABLE proof in the original thread about the termites. It's not my fault if you are too STUPID AND EMOTIONAL to handle the fact that you have LOST THIS FCKING ARGUMENT.

There have been floods LONG BEFORE THERE WERE AUTOMOBILES,  bat guano for brains.

The planet has cooled and heated for CENTURIES before the first humans walked the earth.

You are SERIOUSLY mentally retarded if you think human activity (taking place from an area less than 17 percent of the earth) is accomplishing what has been a reality long before humans arrived here. \

Again, the sources which prove you to be an ignorant, childist LIAR.

A History of Earth's Climate

770 million years ago - Snowball Earth

Scientists believe that there may have been several times when the entire Earth was frozen over with ice. There is no consensus as to what exactly caused these frigid events. One theory holds that a number of large volcanic eruptions sent sulfur gas particles into the atmosphere that reacted with solar radiation to produce a cooling effect. Some scientists speculate that snowball conditions facilitated an explosion of multicellular organisms.

305 million years ago - Carboniferous Rainforest Collapse

The Carboniferous period was known for its marshy forest communities inhabited by the ancestors of reptiles, mammals, and amphibians. It was also an “icehouse” period, in which permanent ice caps sat at the Earth’s poles. But around 305 million years ago, levels of carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, increased. Greenhouse gasses prevent heat from escaping the atmosphere into space, insulating the Earth. This caused the planet to warm, dry out, and experience more intense seasonal fluctuations. Such a climate was intolerable for the Carboniferous rainforest plants, leading to a shift in the types of plant and animal communities and eventually the age of the dinosaurs.

66 million years ago - Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event

The most well-known example of extreme climate change is the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event, the extinction of the dinosaurs. 66 million years ago, an asteroid collided with the Earth, sending a colossal cloud of ash and other debris into the atmosphere. This dense cloud blocked out the sun, creating an “impact winter” and halting the photosynthesis of plants and phytoplankton. The effects of the impact winter rippled throughout ecosystems, causing the extinction of the non-bird dinosaurs.

55 million years ago – Permian-Eocene Thermal Maximum

Over a period of about 100,000 years, the planet slowly warmed by between 5° and 8° Celsius (9°-14.4° Fahrenheit). What caused the warming? Some scientists point to a volcanic eruption that prompted marine sediments to release the powerful greenhouse gas methane into the atmosphere. Oceans across the globe reached tropical temperatures, causing the extinction of a significant percentage of marine life.

What do these dramatic shifts in Earth’s climate have in common?

In these examples, we saw that geological phenomena and natural cycles can drastically alter the Earth's physical attributes. This includes the chemical composition of Earth’s oceans and atmosphere, the wind and ocean currents, the ice caps, and other factors that contribute to Earth's climate. These shifts in climate – rainfall, temperature, sea level, and more – can in turn severely disrupt the ability of organisms and ecosystems to function.

You have LOST this argument. Move on.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon

Carbon is the 15th most abundant element in the Earth's crust, and the fourth most abundant element in the universe by mass after hydrogen, helium, and oxygen. Carbon's abundance, its unique diversity of organic compounds, and its unusual ability to form polymers at the temperatures commonly encountered on Earth, enables this element to serve as a common element of all known life. It is the second most abundant element in the human body by mass (about 18.5%) after oxygen.[18]

The atoms of carbon can bond together in diverse ways, resulting in various allotropes of carbon. Well-known allotropes include graphite, diamond, amorphous carbon, and fullerenes. The physical properties of carbon vary widely with the allotropic form. For example, graphite is opaque and black, while diamond is highly transparent. Graphite is soft enough to form a streak on paper (hence its name, from the Greek verb "γράφειν" which means "to write"), while diamond is the hardest naturally occurring material known.

Uh, BLUE STATE STUPID, carbon takes many forms, not just as a gas.

You are truly BLUE STATE STUPID.

Did god tell you that?

Here's ONE global effect of climate change.

4 days of historical record high average temps across the ENTIRE Earth in July.

image.jpeg.6f18ea3294cb605d0174de7c9cb5f1ed.jpeg

Earth saw hottest day yet, the fourth straight global record

What’s Causing This Record-Breaking Heat?

Quote

Temperatures are set to skyrocket to potentially record-setting levels across the U.S. Southwest as yet another heat dome entrenches itself over the southern tier of the country and Mexico. This is just one of the many punishing, deadly heat waves that have baked locations around the world, from China to Algeria, this spring and summer.

The trend toward more frequent, longer-lasting and more intense heat waves is a hallmark of the climate emergency that has resulted from humans burning fossil fuels and releasing planet-warming greenhouse gases. These heat extremes—along with exceptionally warm ocean waters—contributed to the first week of July becoming the hottest week on record globally, based on preliminary data, according to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). That milestone came just after the hottest June on record. With an El Niño event in place that is set to further boost global temperatures, experts expect that more monthly—and potentially even yearly—heat records could be topped.

Excuse me,  BLUE STATE STUPID.

CO2 is a GAS, which is made up of one atom of Carbon and two atoms of OXYGEN. It is a NATURALLY OCCURRING SUBSTANCE and has been so long before  you were born and started molesting children.

ATOMS of CO2 are different from other solids in the earth.
