blackbird Posted May 11, 2023 Report Posted May 11, 2023 Another report this morning about an OPP officer being killed and two others injured and in hospital. Party leaders issue their sympathies of course. But what have the Liberals and NDP done to actually prevent these killings from happening? In spite of police chiefs and premiers across Canada pleading for something to be done to stop the catch and release of dangerous offenders and the general soft-on-crime liberal policies, nothing has been done. They are still dragging their feet, but are quick to issue their sympathies when another one is killed. When are they going to act? Less talk and more action. Quote
blackbird Posted May 11, 2023 Author Report Posted May 11, 2023 Trudeau just gave a tear-jerking speech expressing his condolences to the family who lost a police officer this morning. He says the government will do everything they can to keep police officers safe. Do you believe him? Do you think he is sincere and telling the truth? Quote
herbie Posted May 11, 2023 Report Posted May 11, 2023 Yes he is sincere, shame on you for doubting that. 1. What does 'catch and release' have to do with killing police officers? 2. And what does 'soft on crime' mean besides you wanting police to ignore Court rulings and Charter Rights? Quote
blackbird Posted May 11, 2023 Author Report Posted May 11, 2023 Bring back capital punishment for murderers especially murderers of police officers and prison guards. Stop the soft-on-crime agenda of the liberals and NDP. Quote

Why do you want to hug-a-criminal and let them go free? You don't make any sense as usual. Quote
herbie Posted May 11, 2023 Report Posted May 11, 2023 Oh did I say I want to do that? No, you did. You're not even capable of responding to the point I made are you? You think I like getting into stupid flame wars with other posters? Who seem to only dismiss anything factual or doable as nonsense? DIsmiss the Charter of Rights and Supreme Court rulings and the fact almost no cop killings have anything to do with previously released offenders as not making sense? Sorry to inform you your complete failure to defend your own statements makes it mere blab. Quote

What does 'catch and release' have to do with killing police officers? The majority of the police officers killed (a record number) in teh last year were on bail mostly thanks to trudeau's 2016 law. 2 hours ago, herbie said: 2. herbie Posted May 12, 2023 Report Posted May 12, 2023 Unable to distinguish what you've convinced yourself to believe rather than facts, have you? Tack on the fact your statements both seem to hold that police officers lives are more important than a regular citizen's life when it comes down to being assaulted or murdered by people out on bail. With another officer killed today you must be so happy. Maybe you'll get lucky and the two in hospital will die. It's sad you care more about defending justin than these deaths.
