How many who were shot were black? How many were white? Was the shooting victim trying to kill the cop? Was the shooting victim just standing on the street minding his own business and was shot at random by a cop? How many were shot by a cop of a different race?

While we're at it, list the largest democraphic of those committing crimes by race. Those statistics are available.

Here's an idea: If you're black and you haven't committed any crimes, (and you don't have drugs on you) then you will not be arrested. If you are black and you are in an area where a crime has committed and a victim (probably a black victim) says he/she was attacked by a black, it's the same thing as if you are white and the victim claims the attacker was white.

Cooperate with the officer. Keep your trap shut. Keep the attitude in your pants. Do not make any sudden movements with your hands near your pockets. With zero evidence, the cop will merely rule you out as a suspect and you'll be on your way. If you have a concealed firearm on your person, give that information up front along with an OFFER to show the cop your permit. Don't just reach for your wallet. If you haven't fired your pistol that day, there will be zero gunshot residue on your hands.

If you mouth off to the officer, call him/her all kinds of a racist, argue with him/her the cop is only human. There's no telling what he/she might do. (And yes, nobody is suggesting that ALL cops are totally pristine as the wind driven snow. Nobody is saying that NO cops are bad, NO cops are racist.)

If you don't act like a jerk, the odds are 100 percent you'll walk away without incident.

And while we're at it, you might want to put yourself in the cop's place for a moment. Cops are killed every day in the line of duty, many on traffic stops, many on stopping a suspect on the street, one who might be fleeing from a crime. A cop knows when he/she approaches a subject, that person might be armed and might just grab the gun and start blasting away.
