Probably facing down Russian missiles in Cuba without war, and launching the space program that put a man on the moon are 2 big accomplishments.

Lesser achievements included integrating Southern schools

Those are the headline milestones.

They are all fine examples, but they are used so often by so many today who know so little more than that, that I hope we can take a moment to peel back the calloused and cliche'd obvious reasons for Kennedy's current popularity.

The only politician who’s come close since then was Obama. All the others are angry, old, backward.  The day Obama was inaugurated, I went to a Starbucks and I saw a black man weeping.  It meant that much to him.  But, of course, Obama was a D, so he had to be automatically hated by the R’s, because he was born in Hawaii or he wore a tan suit or he had a funny name. Whatever the R’s could do to take optimism and positivity and drag it through the mud.

What would you have assumed if Trump had announced his candidacy for the presidency in the Kremlin?

So, what should any mature, responsible America-loving voter think about Obama announcing his candidacy in the living room of a convicted, domestic unrepentant terrorist like Bill Ayers?

From a Wikipedia site on Bill Ayers is this from 2001.

How much research do you perform on all of your friends and acquaintances? Do you run background checks on everyone you meet?  You're assuming that Obama knew all these things about Ayers, and, most likely, he did not. He knew that the man had done a lot of good things in his neighborhood, and that's probably all. 

What we do know is that once Obama became President, he was very thorough in his background checks and ensured the highest level of compliance with rules and procedures. As a result, his administration was almost entirely scandal-free. Indeed, his detractors had to resort to make-believe scandals about Obama's birth certificate, in order to smear him. I'd probably done more wrong by my fifth birthday.

So, he and Ayers were on the same philosophical page from the beginning.

The Secret Service has now inadvertently confirmed our report to Judicial Watch, who has filed a lawsuit after the Secret Service failed to respond to a July 14, 2020 administrative appeal challenging its claim that all files related to the 2009 altercation, “ha[d] been destroyed,” due to “retention standards.”

 

Judicial Watch’s FOIA request, made on May 12, 2020, sought:

All records related to a reported incident in 2009 in which a United States Secret Service Agent reportedly was involved in an altercation with, or attempted to strike, then Vice President Joe Biden” during a photo opportunity.

The records sought shall include, but not be limited to, witness statements, the Agent’s statement, victim’s statement, alleged perpetrator’s statement, incident reports, investigative reports, communications among USSS personnel regarding the incident, and disciplinary records related to the incident for the Agent in question.

This proves absolutely nothing. Gateway Pundit couldn’t get one single witness to come forward.  Hmm… they allege that he molested “all” of the wives and girlfriends… yet not one will state this? 
 

Sounds like a bunch of make-believe.
