job market is at pre pandemic levels.

I really doubt that a lot of people are starting businesses right now. It's not the time - there's too much uncertainty.

Restaurants and a lot of other businesses aren't going to open up right now because they don't know if there will be another round of lockdowns.

Retail stores aren't a good investment right now because more and more people are shopping online.

What sector are all of these new businesses in?

1. I am sure you know the number of Canadians illegally working in the US is miniscule compared to 40 million undocumented Mexicans working or not working in the USA.

2. Ann Coulter does a fairly good job in many of her books how Democrats cheat.  One way is getting Mexicans to vote illegally, so much so to sway an entire election.

3. Are you a conservative?

4. You may have noticed the conservative movement has rejected mass immigration and now mass immigration is only celebrated by the fringe such as libertarians.

1. No.  The total according to this is 10M from all sources.

2. I need something specific that says "millions" of illegal Mexicans vote for Democrats.  I asked for a cite and you don't have one.  You just restated your claim.  My experience tells me that you're not posting seriously.

3. I consider myself such, in terms of support for classical liberal institutions like the law, open economy etc.

4. Uh huh ?

You're still missing a cite that I requested (hospital costs) and this whole thing is a tangent from my point about illegal workers' effect on the minimum wage.  Do you want to comment on that ?

Here's an article for you: https://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2016/09/undocumented-immigrants-and-taxes/499604/

I think this statistic is very tricky. We all know how hard the COVID-19 pandemic global crisis went to small businesses. Even the big companies announced their bankruptcy during the pandemic. In my opinion, they lie to us with these stupid statistic numbers. Personally, I felt the crisis, and I could not find a decent weekend job to pay my rent and university bills. Hopefully, I found a good online job during the crisis, so I didn't fall into the financial crisis. Stay safe, gents!
