Such is the futility of trying to have a dialogue with these guys. He has no clue whether that is a pressure altimeter or a radio altimeter, how they work or how they are used and doesn't want to know.  I don't know which it is either because the one in that screen shot doesn't look like either one. Yeah I got busy elsewhere so didn't get around to asking what that little screen shot was supposed to suggest was happening. I also questioned that alt. as you say, no setting. I think there is some suggestion by "these guys" that says the plane couldn't have descended quickly enough to hit the Pentagon. And if recall correctly the Pentagon grounds are ~110' asl, so if the alt. was showing 70' above impact or 180' above, either could have been accomplished in the seconds before impact. Especially if you are seving Allah and on your way to the 72 virgins.

The error for this discrepancy is 300 feet. Meaning, the actual aircraft altitude was 300 feet higher than indicated at that moment in time. Which you can clearly see in the below picture, the aircraft is too high, even for the official released video of the 5 frames where you see something cross the Pentagon Lawn at level attitude. The 5 frames of video captured by the parking gate cam is in direct conflict with the Aircraft Flight Data Recorder information released by the NTSB.

That's the whole point of a hunch. You don't need knowledge and abilities. As yours seem equal to mine when it comes to airline cockpit instrumentation, I would have thought you would welcome the opinions of those who don't need the hunch.

Yep another piece of BS. How do you propose to prove the alt. was set at 29.92? The altitude of 180' could very well have reflected the altitude with the proper setting. Although I suspect your little cartoon shows a rad.alt.

Flight 93 was still flying 20 or so minutes after the "crash". It was some 500 miles away from Shanksville.

Why on earth would Todd Beamer use his cell phone REPEATEDLY after the crash when he knew he was supposed to have died in that plane crash?

After that allegedly hoax of a plane crash, Beamer's supervisor (or whoever was orchestrating it), would've had to make sure nothing that stupid will happen, and unravel the hoax! :lol:
