Muslims are capable of suddenly becoming radical after years of 'peaceful' behaviour. I mean...why bother? We can chose who comes to Canada. Why choose those that are antithetical to pretty much everything we hold dear?

By far the greatest number of hate crimes in Canada, and the greatest ongoing increase, are against Jews. This comes along with a growing Muslim presence in Canada, and the alignment of the Left with fundamentalist Muslims and against Jews.

There is no reason to believe that the growth in Muslims in Canada is not also contributing to violence against gays. This is, after all, a group which makes no bones about their hatred of homosexuals.

Here's another irony. When some of us expressed a desire to bring over more Syrian Christians instead of Muslims - they clearly being the same race - the progressives attacked that as bigoted! The progressives don't want Syrian Christians in Canada. They want Muslims, the more the better, the more conservative the better!

Founder of the "Ahmadiyya Movement" often touted as a less violent form of Islam...relatively. It is recent in religious terms...late 19th century. Before WW1, he did challenge John Downie who claimed to be Jesus to a pray-off...which I always had a giggle at.

Everything I hold dear, anyways. Like equality of the sexes, freedom of speech, etc. Just because these concepts aren't important to you, others find them rather paramount. Plus, if you truly want to live life as a Muslim, there are at least 57 countries where you can wear a veil to your heart's desire...or your husband's heart's desire. Since you're property...n' all.
