RB
thanks for sharing. Music is universal. I immediately liked Simge Yanzi, I love the runs, nice music. I listened to the first 2. Are these popular songs in Turkiye?

RB
I first heard throat singing while studying the Inuits, now they have mixed the music with pop - it is different.

Guest
This isn't Turkish music, but this song by a Canadian band was inspired by the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. I have never been to the Grand Bazaar, but I did spend some time in a much smaller bazaar in Kusadasi Turkey, which was a very cool place to visit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_AebBULAsM
