-1=e^ipi Posted May 18, 2016 Author Report Posted May 18, 2016 (edited) Anyone wish to change their mind on this? Down with segregated washrooms! Edited May 18, 2016 by -1=e^ipi Quote
jacee Posted May 18, 2016 Report Posted May 18, 2016 I find it ironic that the people who most frequently demand 'safe spaces' are the most keen to turn public restrooms into 'unsafe spaces' because it suits their social engineering objectives. What's unsafe about a woman going into a private bathroom ("single use") after a man has been there, trans or not?We do it in our homes all the time. I agree that multi-use bathrooms are trickier. . Quote Rapists, pedophiles, and nazis post online too.
jacee Posted May 18, 2016 Report Posted May 18, 2016 I am not sure that I would support co-ed multi-use washrooms. Anybody who I have ever talked to, who do commercial cleaning, tell me that women's washrooms are left far "messier" than men's washrooms. Not having visited too many women's washrooms, I have no personal experience to compare the two so I have to trust the evaluation of professionals in the "field". Men use urinals. They don't use toilets or toilet paper as often as women. Women's bathrooms should be cleaned more often as they simply get heavier use. . Quote Rapists, pedophiles, and nazis post online too.
msj Posted May 18, 2016 Report Posted May 18, 2016 Many women, who can't stand even the thought of bare skin touching a toilet seat, often squat and then piss all over the bathroom floor. Women do this, women know this, but many don't like admitting that they are dirtier than men. For this reason I still maintain that I don't want women in a bathroom that I'm using as they are, on average, when strangers, unclean. In the workplace I share bathrooms with women and it is generally ok although at least one of my staff squats and leaves the seat up which is interesting. I assume this is related to her being Russian but maybe that makes me some kind of sexist racist employer. Quote If a believer demands that I, as a non-believer, observe his taboos in the public domain, he is not asking for my respect but for my submission. And that is incompatible with a secular democracy. -1=e^ipi Posted May 18, 2016 Author Report Posted May 18, 2016 Men use urinals. Not all men. Some transmen have difficulty as well as disabled men. Don't generalize. Quote
