cybercoma Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 (edited) I also voted Conservative on the promise of openness and accountability in Ottawa, following the scandals with Chrétien and the arrogance of the Liberals, and well you can see how they delivered on that. Canada_First Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 I also voted Conservative on the promise of openness and accountability in Ottawa, following the scandals with Chrétien and the arrogance of the Liberals, and well you can see how they delivered on that. The NDP aren't even in the PMO and they've already stolen $3 million plus that they've yet to payback. A Tory senator misappropriated a measly $90k and it WAS paid back. Glass houses. Quote
The_Squid Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 I also voted Conservative on the promise of openness and accountability in Ottawa, following the scandals with Chrétien and the arrogance of the Liberals, and well you can see how they delivered on that. I would vote for them again, depending on their platform, leader and candidate. This Conservative party with this leader has definitely not gained my vote. Scandals, wastefulness of tax dollars on pet projects, anti-science... Not until they fix those issues. Quote

I know you view me as a troll but that seriously isn't my intent. I'm a direct person. I speak the way as I type on here. I get it though as no one really knows anyone else personally.I like that you're open minded at least. So am I. I would vote for the party I felt will best serve Canada or the province. Whatever the case may be. I have voted for other parties other than the Tories as well. Albeit provincially. I think a right leaning Fed government and a left leaning provincial government is a good balance. Or vice versa. I care deeply about this country and really do want what I feel is best for it. Quote
Triple M Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 didn't want to start a new thread but did anyone see this interview http://atlantic.ctvnews.ca/video?clipId=708807&binId=1.1145463&playlistPageNum=2#_gus&_gucid=&_gup=Facebook&_gsc=QUajqPK Why would anyone sit down with this interviewer after the dion fiasco?? Trudeau definitely could have explained his deficit position better than claiming that he always planned to run deficits. Quote

Yeah...think about the scandal $ there versus the Sponsorship Scandal or the Gas Plant Scandals. We're talking an ant versus an elephant here. Plus the NDP already got busted for stealing from the government, so if you're really trying to figure out which of the 3 major parties has cost the Taxpayers the least amount of money in a scandal, it'd be the Conservative party. As I've said here earlier today, the election is about picking the party that smells the least nasty. Quote My views are my own and not those of my employer.
