cybercoma Posted August 30, 2015 Report Posted August 30, 2015 Any government would be better than this government. There hasn't been another sitting government in all of our history involved in more criminal activity than this one. Quote

There hasn't been another sitting government in all of our history involved in more criminal activity than this one.Talk about delusional hatemongering. The 'scandals' that this government has been involved in are trivial in nature - especially compared to the gross corruption under Chretien or Mulroney. Nevermind the billion dollar boondongle by McGinty (I am sure you would howling with rage if that stunt was pulled by a Conservative government). I am frankly amazed at how relatively free of gross, self-serving corruption in this government compared to governments in the past. Edited August 31, 2015 by TimG Quote

cybercoma Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 That's good then, as that's a recipe for disaster. It's good that the party who has been under investigation the most by Elections Canada has made it harder for Elections Canada to do their job? This is the same nonsense as going back and retroactively changing legislation so the RCMP couldn't be charged. This party has broken more rules and regulations than any other party in recent memory and when they're caught, they just re-write the laws in their favour. Quote
Boges Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 I haven't seen so many unlikable losers assembled in one place ever in my life. All whities too, I'm sure they run in very diverse social circles. Quote
Boges Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 I haven't yet bothered to dig into the terms that encompass government employment, but I do know that people like this guy work for us and not for Harper. Public servants rarely work for us. They work for themselves and their perks and bennies that aren't comparative to people who do comparable job in the private sector. The Public Service is all about self preservation. Quote

The guy is going to prison, they caught him. I'm happy the police finally have enough budget to catch these crooks. The conservatives are the ones helping police get better funding. ToadBrother Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 Public servants rarely work for us. They work for themselves and their perks and bennies that aren't comparative to people who do comparable job in the private sector. The Public Service is all about self preservation. I've dealt with a good many civil servants and lower level bureaucrats in my time, and while there are certainly some that fit that description, I've had just as many who were willing to help. Quite often it is the regulations put in place by governments themselves that limit public servants ability to help citizens. But hey, every political movement needs its whipping boys, some group in which all the evils of the world can be placed, and attacks leveled, even if it turns out it is the parliamentarians themselves who are the problem.
