To me, corruption involves money for personal benefit. If you're funneling government money into your pockets or those of your friends or campaign donators, that's corruption. If you're giving contracts to firms for work which isn't need or is overpriced, that's borderline corruption. The closest thing I'd say this government has done would be too much self-congratulatory advertising. Compared to what previous governments did, that's almost nothing. Find me a politician who doesn't lie and break promises. If you use that as a yardstick then all politicians are corrupt, including the ones you want to bring in to replace the current group. Dalton McGuinty actually signed a written pledge with a taxpayer group to not raise taxes. Then, after he got elected, raised taxes. The group took him to court, and the court basically said all politicians lie and can't be held to any promises.
