Topaz
While surfing the news, I came across a women who did couponing as part of her saving money on food etc.but I wonder if some of these people who do this really know what they are doing. What I'm referring to are the people who have thousands of tube of toothpaste, shampoos, etc, items that so have expiry dates and how many people can use a 1000 tubes of toothpaste in a year? On the TV program "Extreme Couponing" they buy a lot of junk food like pop, cookies, candy etc. and some have gotten so good at it that some stores in the US have put a cap on how coupons one can use. So my question is... have you or would you do couponing ?? http://www.stcatharinesstandard.ca/2015/06/10/queen-of-coupons-shares-her-secrets
Freddy
I think it's a kind of mental disorder, honestly.
Big Guy
We do as much as we have time for. Most of the products available have a lengthy shelf life and we donate them to our local food/materials bank. Bonam
Not worth the time/hassle for the savings you get. For anyone making a decent income, spending their own time to save a few bucks on random items is just not worth it. What is your leisure time worth to you? Is collecting and using coupons the best way you can think to use it?
Hal 9000
Not worth the time/hassle for the savings you get. For anyone making a decent income, spending their own time to save a few bucks on random items is just not worth it. What is your leisure time worth to you? Is collecting and using coupons the best way you can think to use it? Right, and is it really leisure time at that point? It looks like a job. How many hours do these people spend with their coupons, sorting, catogorizing with charts etc. Just to save a couple hundred bucks? And to have a house jammed with toilet paper, shampoo and soda pop. No, I'll go to my job thanks. As Freddy said, it's a mental disorder. They're all obsessed. These people are nothing more than hoarders. I'd be OK with it if they dropped the stuff off at a food bank or shelter, but they never do.
