You tell us that you used your reading skills but you somehow missed this:

My questions were why would Brzeznski think Pol Pot was good for Cambodia. Why could China support him? Why would they just because Brzeznski asked them too? You haven't answered any of those.

My questions were why would Brzeznski think Pol Pot was good for Cambodia.

Because Brzenzski is just another floating piece of pond residue who, like most of his compatriots, think it grand to use the innocent poor of the world for their political machinations. He did the same things to the people of Afghanistan. Of course, he was hardly alone.

The USA knew that having its USAF saturation bombing Cambodia into oblivion was not good for the 750,000?? million ??? innocents slaughtered but that's just par for the course for the USA. It has never cared about how many it slaughters. Odd behavior doncha think for the savior of the oppressed?

Why would the Indonesians take death lists made up by CIA and USA embassy staffers and proceed to slaughter 3/4 of a million people, while the USA folks checked off the dead?

Why would Reagan describe those (the Contras) who slashed off women's breasts, peeled skin from people's bodies, murdered children, ... the equivalent of the USA founding fathers?

The more you look into the real history of the USA, the more you are astonished by their depravity.

"... the CIA had been running thousands of operations over the years... there have been about 3,000 major covert operations and over 10,000 minor operations... all designed to disrupt, destabilize, or modify the activities of other countries... But they are all illegal and they all disrupt the normal functioning, often the democratic functioning, of other societies. They raise serious questions about the moral responsibility of the United States in the international society of nations."

You didn't answer any of the questions. If you don't know, just say you don't know.

Hey Shady, there are a few other threads with posters awaiting your response on certain matters. Why have you not responded to them? You can say you don't know it's really ok.

Still waiting Mr. Omar.

Still waiting Mr. Omar.

Your questions are inane, Shady. They don't even make any sense. Why are you focusing on inanity when you should be apologizing for your initially non pejorative ignorance.

The USA established the conditions for the birth and growth of PolPot and the Khmer Rouge with their massive series of war crimes against the people of Cambodia.

Then the USA provided direct material aid to this same murderous scum, forcing relief agencies to divert food resources from true refugees to USA protected war criminals.

Now which is more important, your inane questions or the fact that you were so wrong about the USA and you're not honest enough to admit it?

I watched Khmer Rouge officials welcomed back to Phnom Penh by U.N. officials who went to astonishing lengths not to offend them. Khieu Samphan, Pol Pot's henchman who once said that the only mistake the Khmer Rouge had made was not killing enough people, took the salute of US. and other U.N. troops as a guest of honor on United Nations Day in Phnom Penh.

Stop trying to change the subject and answer the questions already. Why would Brzenski feel like America couldn't support Pol Pot but China could? Why did Brezenski feel that Pol Pot was good for Cambodia? Why would China support Pol Pot just because America asked them to? Answer those or stfu.

Shady, it's you who is trying to change the subject. The thread was started to educate you about the USA helping to establish PolPot and the Khmer Rouge.

Something you, in your ignorance, non pejorative sense, denied.

And then, after they had slaughtered around a million people, A MILLION PEOPLE, Shady!!, the USA supported them with food intended for real refugees, strengthened them, trained them and even supported them at the UN in their Faustian attempts to make them again the governing party of Cambodia.

You seek to derail a discussion of USA direct involvement in the genocidal actions against the Cambodian people to dither on over some inane, meaningless questions?

You still won't answer simple questions related to your own posted material. Please answer the questions Omar. Stop running scared.

Why do western nations whine and weep so over the loss of the small number of dead and injured they have sustained compared to the millions of poor and innocent that have been slaughtered by the USA and its supporting bands of war criminals and terrorists?

Friends of PolPot

...

More than a million and a half would die - although recent discoveries of mass graves by a Yale University team suggest that this figure may be a gross underestimate. During the three years and eight months they held power, Pol Pot and his medievalists may have put to death a third of the nation.
