Keepitsimple
Here's a link to Trudeau's interview with Evan Solomon. Solomon wasn't as agressive as he is with Conservatives but at least he prodded a bit. A fairly long interview where Trudeau says basically.......nothing.....but is almost breathless in saying it......reminds me of Pinball Clemens. Spiderfish
This guy can’t answer a question to save his life. When asked “what is the solution”, his response is “I know what the solution isn’t”. Good grief. Christmas…grandma…connectivity, these are the values that Trudeau puts on Canada Post, and the cynicism and hostility of the evil Harper Government trying to kill Christmas, grandma and connectivity is not the solution. The solution to the projected billion dollar deficit by Canada Post by 2020 in his opinion is to have a discussion. Spiderfish
And Harper of course "has been very clear Mr. Speaker" While Harper's attendance has not been stellar, he has had much more opportunity to address the Speaker and the House than junior. Discussions on the issues are nice, but you have to be present if you want to be part of the discussion. Not good enough to mail it in. Rue
So let's see now. Flaherty tells his fellow Minister to "f..." off over Ford. Another makes a dumb comment about child poverty. Meanwhile Steve is silent on these two fiascos but we have a side issue as a left over geriatric from Chretien's era is criminally charged at the same time the Senate stink-fart continues to hang in the air and just won't go away, while Justin the Little Prince, is no where to be seen prancing around like a reindeer supposedly talking to Canadians while that chubby guy with the beard who sounds like Vincent Price stands up in the comments and has hissy fits about how bad everyone is but himself. What a political choice. A wazoo, a prancing rich patoot and a hairy drag queen. Wonderful. Oh but wait I can vote Green Party a colour made famous by Mummar Ghaddafi remember him and has a bag lady as its leader. I love Canada. Vote Rex Murphy for Prime Minister. The only thing good about Canadian politics is that CTV news reporter with the Armanian name I can not pronounce. She has great hair. Makes the scandals worth watching. I like Lisa LaFlamme as well. Great name-maybe the NDP Leader should borrow it when he has fun at night. Edited December 17, 2013 by Rue

bleeding heart
I would prefer a Harper Government over a Murphy one. A fine interviewer...but then, so is Ghomeishi. Otherwise, Murphy is a polemical blowhard with a fine turn of phrase and a practiced derision for anyone, say, actively opposed to a war, and other such deranged, untenable positions.. On Guard for Thee
Yes he is a bit of a mouth piece. But I think I would rather listen to him than yet another round of Harper going on about"I've been perfectly clear"
ironstone
Give me a break. Trudeau ran clean by-elections and refrained from using attack ads. This country needs Justin. I will vote over NDP because of Justin. He speaks across generations. You see what is going on here? The CPC are mired in scandal after scandal so some people have to try and nit pick at Trudeau with baseless claims. Shady, the SENATE SCANDAL is going to be fresh in people's memories when the next election occurs. That's why I am already predicting a Loberal majority in 2015. After 2015, Canada will no longer win the dubious Fossil of the year Year Award. Please enlighten me.What on earth do you see in this man?I haven't heard any of his speeches nor would I pay to listen to him.I have heard some of his responses to media questions and he does not impress me at all,he talks a lot but says little of substance. The fact that he was born into enormous wealth and yet he sees fit to charge charities for speaking engagements says something about his character. He currently does not take questions from Sun Media,I'm guessing he simply does not like hard questions and/or he is perplexed that Sun reporters do not fawn over him like everyone else. He's been getting the rock star treatment for years now and he clearly enjoys it. Since you are socialist,I think voting for Trudeau is a good fit for you.I think the Liberals are moving to the left from what I see, especially on the economy(Chyrstia Freeland,STAR economics advisor.......never studied economics, has a degree in Russian history and literature!!).Trudeau does not speak across generations,he simply appeals to those who are easily star struck. On Guard for Thee
I can't obviously see inside Trudeau's head, but he might just be a little smarter than we may think. He could well be taking a page out of Chretien's playbook, as in: just be quiet and let your opposer shoot himself in both feet as Mulroney did over Airbus and Harper is now doing with the senate. He may just be sitting back twirling his thumbs, watching current events as well as the polls and wondering where did this gift come from. He can let Mulcair, who is the more experienced politician as well as in the legal profession, beat the crap out of Harper everyday since May in QP, and see Harper's polls go in the dumpster, Mulcair's go up slightly, while his climb well above both. Why would anyone rock that boat? He does have to watch the clock though and get his act together sometime before now and 2015, but he still has a little time to let the current scenario play out. Rue
What-ever happened to Gwynn Dyer. He and Rex Murphy should be running this country along with Rick Mercer. We need these Newfoundlanders to seize this nation. Chantel Hebert can run too but I am not sure if I should call her Sir or Mam. Very confusing. Does anyone know? Ian Hanamansingh I will bring in to. We need ethnic votes. For sure Mike Bullard because someone has to appeal to the people who are to busy in the liquor stores to vote. Then of course we need Brent Butt. His name is perfect for federal politics and he would make a great Minister of Culture. Celine Dionne is my Minister of Defence. The best defence is an offence and all she has to do is sing the Titanic song wherever we point her and bam peoples' brains explode just like Slim Whitman used to do with the martians. KD Lang will be our Governor General. We need a Governor General that looks like Wayne Newton, Elvis, Michael Buble and Rob Ford all rolled into one. Or how about this dream team, Anne Murray, KD Lang, Katherine (jane Hathaway) Wynne, Sheila Copps, Chantal Hebert and Madame La Vachon Marois. There we go. They should run Canada. No one would ever invade us. Bah. Happy New Year Mrs. Trudeau. No not Maggie, Sophie.
