WWWTT
Hey everyone, remember this guy? http://t.co/CS5zSkCdKU He was pulled over a couple years back and refused to blow. If he goes back to parliament and the conservative caucus refuse him he will ask Justin to accept him. Will the liberals have him? Thoughts anyone? I personally believe that if he is cleared and comes back to parliament without the Harper blessing, the liberals can deal the conservatives a KO punch by accepting this tippsy MP. Or maybe this is only wishful thinking? WWWTT
cybercoma
He's posturing. I can't see him going to the LPC and I don't know that the LPC would accept him anyway.
kimmy
He used to be Reform, but he's willing to join the Liberals if the Conservatives don't want him? Does that mean that Peter Goldring's principles are that malleable? Or does it mean that he doesn't see any significant differences between the two parties? -k
Bryan
Goldring already rejoined the CPC caucus on thursday. http://www.sunnewsnetwork.ca/sunnews/politics/archives/2013/06/20130606-192825.html
Fletch 27
Looks like the Liberals didn't get that "KO Punch"... Lets try again... Does that mean that Peter Goldring's principles are that malleable? Or does it mean that he doesn't see any significant differences between the two parties? It simply means that Goldring is now eligible to become the PMO's next chief of staff.

WWWTT
Looks like the Liberals didn't get that "KO Punch"... Lets try again... Actually, from what I have heard/read,it sounded like Goldring did have some legit points! I have personally seen cops act in an unprofessional manner before, only concern to be getting someone charged with something. WWWTT

His refusal to cooperate could well have been on principal as opposed to him being over the limit...
Traveller
Goldring should get together with Rathgeber and form a dissident caucus ala Strahl, Hangar, Lunn, Solberg and others did back in '01. It might surprise a few people (especially in the PMO) just who would be willing to join such a beast. Let's not forget either that Rathgeber is an Edmonton MP, a city which has previously elected Liberal MPs on a regular basis despite the province being a Tory stronghold. Now if they just had a Strahl or a solberg to speak for them...

Goldring also doesn't appear to have any issue with the Conservatices.
