So the citizens arrest bill came into effect today. So now Canadians can arrest people they think are breaking the law, for example to defend their property.

Even if they are not actively engaged in doing so when the arrest takes place.

I'm still waiting on an arrest under the law to pop up in the news........

Many people who commit these crimes are normal people who have no opportunity.
