Then I read the news, 70 more rockets fired from Gaza into civilian Israel areas. Hmm, I thought. It seems other countries in the region, perhaps Syria and Iran for starters, were sending rockets and military equipt. parts, to Gaza. Then Gaza sent the assembled air bombs at Jews. So it's sort of logical. Stop rocketing Israel with imported weaponry. Stop loading ships bound for Gaza with weaponry, and wallah! No nee for any embargo. Cuba never had an embargo by the USA until Russia sent missiles to Cuba. Then, Bam! a USA embargo until the weapons were gone. Seems sensible. Seems lawful, seems logical. Hmm, the UN has an embargo against Iran! Why? Because there's a potential threat... Remove the threat and Poof! goes the Embargo. " The decision to impose an EU oil embargo on Iran, agreed on Monday by European foreign ministers, sets a potential bomb ticking, timed to detonate on 1 July. On that day, according to the package of measures on the table in Brussels, Europe will stop importing oil from Iran, about a fifth of the country's total exports. Tehran has long said such actions would represent a declaration of war, and there are legal experts in the west who agree." Embargoes exist legally over many things in several situations. Embargoes over wine, seal skins, etc. Why not one to stop rocket supplies when they end up being imported by Gaza and exported to kill civilians in Israel? I can think of no more justified or righteous use of an embargo, one that only the Gazans terrorists regime seems determined to continue. Stop those friggin flotilla fools sez I.
