Her case was thrown out of the courts today.. Her case had no merit or grounds. Should she be accountable for accumulated court costs? Should she apologize to Steve Harper on the CBC?

Up to the judge.

So Harper and Guergis share a suite? I always thought they were called in-law suites.

Geurgis has 30 days to appeal.

Harper knows all about the appeal process.

no - the ruling was that the court did not have standing to rule on political decisions concerning the membership of Cabinet.

the, as you say, "merits or grounds" of the accusation were not tested... were not ruled upon. In regards the particular defamation allegation, interestingly, Harper's 'legal team' did put forward a statement that, "Harper and the other defendants had not committed defamation, but even if they had, they were protected from lawsuits by the doctrines of Crown prerogative and absolute and Parliamentary privilege"..... membership has its privileges!

Condemn him on the CBC---OK

but

The CBC would never lower itself to show an apology to a PC Prime Minister, They are only into blasting him,.

Yes, the massive victimization of the Conservatives continues apace. They're too good for this fallen world.

“There is a limit to how much we can constantly say no to the political masters in Washington. All we had was Afghanistan to wave. On every other file we were offside. Eventually we came onside on Haiti, so we got another arrow in our quiver."

--Bill Graham, Former Canadian Foreign Minister, 2007
