Topaz Posted January 27, 2012 Report Posted January 27, 2012 Is it true that taxpayers are spenting millions on a federal appointment commission that doesn't exists??? By this article that is what's happening and with the Tories saying over and over again, they care how they spend taxpayers dollars, it seems they speak out of both sides of their mouth. They come down on the Liberals for the ads scam but I bet they are doing a better job scamming Canadians out of their tax dollars, when will this all end? http://ca.news.yahoo.com/costly-secretariat-lives-little-061707493.html Quote
eyeball Posted January 27, 2012 Report Posted January 27, 2012 ...when will this all end? Maybe when it starts to get close to gun registry proportions, but I doubt it. Quote I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical, a liberal, oh fanatical criminal
PIK Posted January 27, 2012 Report Posted January 27, 2012 We should concentrate on the real problem facing us,DALTON. Instead of topaz's imaginary oneS. Quote Toronto, like a roach motel in the middle of a pretty living room.

We did concentrate on Dalton and HE won and they were talking about the wasting of tax dollars by the Feds today. What, do you only care if a lib. waste and not a Con? I care about both. Quote
CPCFTW Posted January 28, 2012 Report Posted January 28, 2012 I care about both. No you don't. You just have a hate-on for Harper. Your schtick is getting old. Quote
Topaz Posted January 28, 2012 Author Report Posted January 28, 2012 No you don't. You just have a hate-on for Harper. Your schtick is getting old. Let's get this clear for once and for all... I do NOT hate Harper, I don't think he makes a very good PM. He has made promises and lied over and over. HIS way of doing things are not what Canadians want but he's not making Canada better, he's not making Canadians feel good about Canada, unemployment is high, food banks are over-flowing with hungry people, unless of course, you live in the West, like Alberta or Saskatchewan. Harper is NOT a PM for ALL of Canada, and his majority , maybe be his down fall, power corrupts!! There nothing wrong with criticizing the PM, so suck it up until an Liberal or NDP get to the PMO and you can do your bit of criticizing too! Quote

Items like the commission are a waste and need be addressed. Better you should write Harper about it as I do. If you don't you're simply wasting your time. Harper's government has been in need of criticism in some things as the Clement pork barreling, and the G20 costs, and other matters. However you show a bias when you exaggerate as you have. He has done what he indicated he would do. He has bolstered the economy with programs and Canada is the envy of the rest of the G20 countries. When you speak of hungry people you have to consider the period we are going through and show our government , our country has fared compared to others through the down turn. Your claim that "HIS way of doing things are not what Canadians want." is not supported by the facts. He was elected by Canadians. He got a majority. He is doing what he said he would do, and Canada 's unemployment is better than other countries. I think you ignore the the alternatives to OUR current government. One that is primarily a Quebec movement and another that Canadians blitzed. I'm overall pretty happy with our MAJORITY government, however I write them when I'm not! http://www.canada.com/business/Prime+Minister+Harper+2011+year+interview/5909811/story.html Edited January 29, 2012 by Peeves Quote
