DogOnPorch Posted October 24, 2011 Report Posted October 24, 2011 We need to treat these situations differently in my view. To me there really is no way to compare them. We can look at similarities in each situation, but for the most part, we need to treat them differently. So in the end really I do not have an answer for that. Unlike yourself, I see zero need to treat the Arabs differently than other groups. They lost a war that they started...several times. They get what they deserve. South Viet-Nam is a great example because the aggressor, North Viet-Nam, got to keep EVERYTHING after winning in 1975. Years after UN 242. No UN resolutions there, I notice...no Jews, either. Another good question is why Israel is opposed to the Palestinians having their own country? We keep going through this, but even if they were to pull an Israel and say 'We are here this is Palestine, recognize us!', would Israel object? But there is a benefit to Israel by keeping them under an occupation right? Israel was ready to recognize a Palestinian Arab state in 1948. Tell me what happened instead.
