Saying it "opposes extremism in all its forms," the British government has banned Florida pastor Terry Jones from entering the United Kingdom because of his plan last fall to burn Qurans on the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, the BBC reports.

Jones had planned anti-Islam rallies and had been invited to join with the far-right English Defense League next month. The group withdrew its invitation last month, but similar extremist organizations, including the National Front and England Is Our, enlisted his participation in their rallies, The Gainesville Sun says.

"Numerous comments made by pastor Jones are evidence of his unacceptable behavior," a Home Office spokesman said. "Coming to the U.K. is a privilege not a right and we are not willing to allow entry to those whose presence is not conducive to the public good."

Jones, who heads the small, Christian fundamentalist Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville, shelved his Quran-burning event after widespread condemnation.

His new anti-Islam organization, Stand Up America, said in a statement that the ban "exemplifies the sabotage of the basic human rights of freedom of speech and freedom of expression. The ban also proves the effectiveness of the threat of militant Islam in the U.K. as one is not free to travel to the U.K. due to the speculation of violence."

I wonder if they barred all the Muslims who burned Christian churches.

Naaaaaaaaaaaaaa that's be a biased action

Have you seen this published anywhere?

My bet is that there has been NO banning of these people because there are no names to ban. The church burners act as a mob, the locals aren't going to come forward with names, possibly because they were part of the mob.

When will Europe see the political situation in their own back yard as a disaster happening now?

Will they be as quick to recognize the situation as they were with the Jewish genocide, in other words, will it happen before it's too late?

To answer that myself, I would say not unless they listen to the Dutch & the Danes.

The link I provided is a newspaper, so yeah, I have seen it published somewhere. It includes names.

Well if that were true, then there is no "biased action" as you claim. How can they ban people if they don't know who they are?

But, given AW's post, it appears to be moot anyway.

The article states-

-A total of 101 individuals - including dozens of radical Muslim clerics, such as Omar Bakri - have been excluded in the past four years, using new powers introduced after the July 7 bombings in 2005.

Two thirds of them have been banned for "fomenting, justifying or glorifying terrorist violence" and provoking others to carry out terrorist atrocities.

What about the other 998,999,9899 radicals who preach, teach & practice the elimination of any religion (if Islam can really be called a religion)other than Islam. You notice that I am graciously granting that there are 100 million who don't follow these normal Muslim beliefs

You know what your problem is? You think thunderous ignorance is a high virtue.

It really isn't.

You have found this earthshaking bit if knowledge by noticing that you are not of high virtue?

You should have asked. Thanks for the attempt at my psychological profiling tho (almost the same idea as thot) the results prove out your incapacity for the job

First of all, you have claimed that there are nine billion Muslim radicals. Nine billion, Tilter.

But ok, let's assume you have trouble with numbers, and you actually meant somewhere over nine hundred million. (I too can "graciously grant" things, you see).

Your "logic" is that, let's say, 90% of Muslims are "radicals" who "teach and practice the elimination of any religion...other than Islam."

This is a large claim, so it requires evidence; not from the Koran, as religious books are useless evidence, but from the statements and actions of a sampling that will logically extrapolate to 90% of the religion's adherents.

A monumental task; I wish you good luck.
