eyeball
And where's your evidence that CBC has a leftist bias? Just guessing, but I'd say the evidence is in the fact it doesn't have a right-wing bias...either.
Battletoads
And where's your evidence that CBC has a leftist bias? Heres a simple proof: The CBC is not as right wing and Fox "News" therefore they are a bunch of rabid foaming at the mouth communists. Q.E.D. I bet you would be able to predict intelligence based off of whether of not people believe in a black and white political spectrum.
Shakeyhands
Who's "we"? You have evidence? ANY evidence? I wonder if the misinformation by Beijing will eventually filter down to CBC. As other liberal misinformations do. Do yourself a favour and read the study posted here. You'll notice no mention of Beijing U of M Study
Saipan
And where's your evidence that CBC has a leftist bias? In 90% of their "reports". Starting from constant attacks on P. Manning, S. Day, S. Harper and even M. Harris........ and all the glory of P.E. Trudeau and Trudeau Jr. Only the most rabid Leftie can't see it. I'm asking for evidence, not your assertions backed up by a "90%" figure you plucked out of your own brain. If you can't provide evidence, you're conceding that you're mistaken. I appreciate the concession. Edited December 24, 2010 by bloodyminded

Saipan
It's really interesting to see the left in such panic because the liberal CBC won't be the only official propaganda in this country.

True. The folks at FOX News actually believe in "GW", just not "AGW." Saipan's thermometers and grapes are informing him that it doesn't exist at all. So the FOXes are a little too radical left for his taste. Probably SunTV will be too; they might not even open programming with a stirring rendition of "God Bless America," proving their agenda is ultimately socialist. Criticism from the Right and defence from the Left. Can't be any clearer. No...I haven't been defending CBC; I've been disagreeing that it's a radical left news organ. You really don't understand the distinction? If you told me that President Bush was actually a direct descendent of Hitler and inheritor of the man's worldview, I would disagree with you; that does not mean that I like or am "defending" Bush. The only people around here I see defending the sad state of the news corporations at all are conservatives. bloodyminded
Yes, 'specially the Will Sun TV News be Good or Bad for Canadian Democracy? Context, Saipan. you made your remark after some back and forth with posters who expiliitly said they don't care if Suntv comes to Canada. So that's how anyone would read your remarks--as directed towards people who don't fit your simpelton's paradigm. You should learn that there's not some entity called "the left" that lives in lockstep agreement. just like I"m aware that not all right-wingers are like you, using thermometer "science" to determine AGW, and lying and during debates, throwing smoke and being disingenuous all the time. I'm open-minded, you see.
Saipan
You should learn that there's not some entity called "the left" that lives in lockstep agreement. I was addressing those who are defending CBC spin. (freely translated from Czech "if you throw a rock into flock of geese the one you hit will honk") just like I"m aware that not all right-wingers are like you, using thermometer "science" to determine AGW, and lying and during debates, throwing smoke and being disingenuous all the time. I couldn't care less how you measure temperature. That's how I do it when it comes to weather. As for climate I judge by the pile of firewood used each winter - or should I say each year, since last year it got to the point we had to use woodstove every month of the year. (freely translated from Czech "if you throw a rock into flock of geese the one you hit will honk") And in your usual formulation, you refuse to offer evidence. Because you have zero evidence. You think it's leftist because you heard it was...so it's true.
Saipan
Saipan's thermometers and grapes are informing him that it doesn't exist at all. Combined with Siberian weather in Europe. And virtually no change in SouthEast Asia. Btw, you can fool gulible people but not the vegetation.
