Who? Almost no one in Canada has even heard of those two.
Time for them to learn.

Canada's history did not start in 1867.

Mance and Bourgeoys sound like completely random choices tbh.
Sad comment.
Laura Secord already has a chocolate factory, all these famous ladies are already imaged on to one thing or another. I say, stick with the male theme, and put on Louis Riel.
Laura Secord would be good too.

Maybe the Bank of Canada should rotate between the three.

Shwa, Louis Riel? On Canadian money? If I understand your reasoning, you equate Jeanne Mance with Louis Riel as a symbol of Canada.

Raison plus pour mettre la face de Jeanne Mance sur les 20.

IMHO, posters here and Canadians in general should know more about our history.

Absolutely! He died for his ideas which are now an integral part of our national heritage.

But it is true to say that posters here and Canadians already know our general history. The devil is in the details.

IMV, Harper should replace the Face of the Queen on our $20 bill with Jeanne Mance or Marguerite Bourgeois.

Harper has the authority to make this change, and Queen Elizabeth's crowned silhouette (or Charles') would still be on the coins. So, we would still have a connection to the monarchy.

It sounds like further dilution of the tie to the monarchy. Slick idea but I don't think it's a good one.

Do yourself a favor and google him. He is Canada's best known sports personality, and commentator. Cherry is as Canadian as poutine.

Hes a troll playing with you. Its mikedavidIII , you think mikedavidII was an idiot just wait.....

You're both totally wrong. He's a respected poster I know going back at least to 2001 at the now-defunct sympatico boards. He's actually a great guy.
