nicky10013
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/tories-wont-share-cost-cutting-plan-budget-watchdog-complains/article1784121/ “In light of the size of the required reduction in the growth of operating expenses, PBO requested details regarding how the Government intends to achieve its planned operating budget freeze over the projection period,” Mr. Page writes. “However, the Government has indicated that this information is a Cabinet confidence and will not be released to the public.” Wonder how the right wingers here can defend this one. I imagine that will be outlined in the budget.
Shakeyhands
I imagine that will be outlined in the budget. That makes sense. I suppose it also makes sense that the LPC won't be releasing their platform until an election is called after the budget.
Topaz
There was something mentioned in QP today. Stockwell said something about FREEZING all department, peoples's wages and othr things for five years. Page doesn't believe they can pay it off in five years and I don't either unless they start to have a yard sale.
CANADIEN
That makes sense. I suppose it also makes sense that the LPC won't be releasing their platform until an election is called after the budget. We are not talking about the electoral platform of either the LPC or the CPC. We are talking about the Government, which last time I checked answered to us. Bonam
We are talking about the Government, which last time I checked answered to us. How long ago was it that you checked?
Jerry J. Fortin
We are not talking about the electoral platform of either the LPC or the CPC. We are talking about the Government, which last time I checked answered to us. They answer to us when they decide to call an election, or one is forced on them. That is the extent of that. charter.rights
We are not talking about the electoral platform of either the LPC or the CPC. We are talking about the Government, which last time I checked answered to us. A myth...at best.
