Guest TrueMetis Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 The only two objections I've seen from Republicans about this bill is there being a tax increase attached to this bill apparently Republicans didn't realize they would have to pay for this bill. The second thing is they wanted to attach an amendment that would stop illegal immigrants from receiving any of the benefits of this bill, because apparently even if your a hero that risked your own life to save other you don't deserve health care just because you don't have all of the paper work you need even though odds are you already have most of it. Of course the democrats should have just used normal channels and stomped any amendments the Republicans wanted to make into the ground. Quote

A second New Hampshire Democrat, an activist running for the state legislature, is apologizing for the same gaffe. Responding to a thread on Facebook, New Hampshire State Rep. Timothy Horrigan reportedly posted a message Wednesday night that read, "Well a dead Palin wd be even more dangerous than a live one...she is all about her myth & if she was dead she cldn't commit any more gaffes."
