Jack Weber
If there is anything we can do out west to help Quebec Seperate Let me Know. Enough is enough We've got a few openly secessionist Albertans here,as well... They deserve the same fate...
ToadBrother
No you already had 2 lost both times, you don't get to have one until you win. Tough. Why not? Joey Smallwood didn't like the results of the first referendum rejecting bringing Newfoundland into confederation and so tried again. ZZelda
We've got a few openly secessionist Albertans here,as well... They deserve the same fate... Who's from Alberta, anyway If you want me to say things like the majority of Quebecors are racists. Opps there was already a poll showing 70% of them are racists thats a fact no use saying that they know they are. How about defacing the Quebec flag like the Bloc Mp did to the Canadian flag at the Nagano Olympics. Everytime Quebec does this threat all they ever want is Canadian tax payers Money. They dont pay taxes with all the Federal funding they get. Time to cut the apron strings and let them grow up and be all that they can be. Leafless
He didn't do any such thing. Parliament passed a motion recognising the Québécois as a nation within Canada. Québécois is an undefined term; it does not necessarily mean Quebecer and certainly doesn't mean Quebec, which is precisely why that specific word was chosen. Quebecois main definition is 'a native or inhabitant of the province of Quebec (especially one that speaks French). The press says that Mr. Harper did say that the province of Quebec is a nation within Canada. Why would the press lie? PM says Quebec 'nation in Canada' Stephen Harper's Conservatives won elections in January Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper has told a debate in parliament that he regards the province of Quebec as a "nation within Canada". Mr Harper was responding to a motion by Quebec separatists that MPs should "recognise Quebecois form a nation". http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6174986.stm
