Has anyone here received a phone call asking about you feel about the seal hunt? They asked other questions too but it was mostly about government spending on the hunt, should tax dollars go to the helping people find other jobs etc.

No - but thanks for posting that. These phone polls are a backdoor to what is really going on with policy making.

backdoor? How about a Harper Conservative front door to counter seal hunt opposition? ... Foreign Affairs and International Trade RFP => Social Media and Online Issues Management for the Seal Hunt

Social Media and Online Issues Management for the Seal Hunt

Organized opposition to the seal hunt has been increasing internationally since the Government of Canada announced a five-year management plan in 2006.

Well-organized anti-sealing groups are using digital communications to great advantage – effective use of search engine optimization (SEO) techniques, and leveraging Web 2.0 technologies and platforms to build communities of interest have dramatically increased their share of conversation and digital footprint. Tactics also include posting videos, images and other details (frequently incorrect or disingenuous) on platforms like YouTube and Flickr where sharing and viewership are maximized.

As a result, DFAIT would like to engage a firm to help meet described objectives attached herein.

Why is there a sudden push on several fronts here to endorse the seal hunt? This whole situation is becoming comical. - The Great Canadian Sealhunt Farce

It must be yet another brilliant stimulus measure: Canada wide seal hunt to kick start the economy and reduce unemployment.

If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant

Another key one being of course, the summit security (G8 and 20), with the total price tag of 1 billion (G&M: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/world/g8-g20/news/g8g20-security-bill-to-approach-1-billion/article1580865/). Lots of jobs there forget Adscam with its paper flags.

Feel?

Great word.

Think about it?

Seal meat. Mmmmmmm good!

Screw the European weak dicks - they have issues of their own they need to address first.

Like getting Greece to pay their bills without the rest of the world subsidizing the Euro.
